We are delighted to announce that the 2017 Chelmorton Festival will be running from 10th-16th July. From Scarecrows to dog shows, the village has something exciting for everyone to enjoy.
All week the village will be decorated for the festivities, including scarecrows and yarn bombing, and a treasure trail will be available to help you explore all of Chelmorton. The Church and Institute will host exhibitions, and the institute will also be serving tea and coffee for thirsty visitors and residences alike.

Monday 10th July Is your chance to join in with the ever popular festival quiz in The Church Inn at 9pm
Tuesday 11th July Sees the return of the thrilling crime panel, this year including Stephen Booth Tickets priced at £4, 6pm at the War Memorial Institute
Wednesday 12th July We are delighted to welcome the Tideswell Singers for the first time, singing in the Church at 7.30pm. Tickets priced at £5
Thursday 13th July Enjoy a renowned stone walling course with David Bagshaw, please visit http://fivewells.co.uk/drystone-walling-courses/ for more details, or a historic walk through Chelmorton village with Harry Mayo, meeting outside the church at 2pm.
Friday 14th July Come along to enjoy an evening table tennis session in the Institute
Saturday 15th July Enjoy a day packed full of activity, including village stalls, children’s activities, a live band, the famous Chelmorton dog show at 2.30pm and a chance to get your dancing shoes on at the evening village party.
